'The Perthshire Screen'
Perth Royal Infirmary
5m x 1.6m
The design was inspired by the many natural features which combine to form the extensive landscape of Perthshire covering hundreds of miles and within which lies the huge catchment area of this hospital. Perthshire boasts hundreds of kilometres of freshwater river, most of which flow into the River Tay. It is this great river which is the focal point the design, and the Tay and its tributaries form a reference point around which many familiar landmarks are woven, from castles to crags, from fishing to forests.
