'Orkney Window'

This window in a new aperture in the lower stairwell was designed to mirror the profile of an existing traditional glazed window higher up the staircase. The vertical astrigals of the adjacent window have been echoed here using glass instead of wood. The design is based on themes of personal signifigance to the family, including the landscape of the Orkneys, music and favourite flowers.
