This unusual, angular internal window is a unique feature in the hallway of a period flat in Edinburgh. It is situated in the wall between master bedroom and hall and is designed to be read from the hall, where the sparkling textured glass creates a focal point on the dark landing. As the window is the only light source on the landing, it was essential to let through as much secondary light as possible, but equally important to ensure that privacy was retained in the bedroom. This was achieved by selecting a careful balance of obscure glass and handmade glass.
